- From Albuquerque, drive to Jemez Springs along Jemez Mountain Scenic Byway (Highway 4)
- Breakfast at Highway 4 Cafe or Stage Stop restaurants (check websites for weekday and seasonal hours)
- Visit Jemez Historic Site, walk along 1.5 mile self-guided interpretive trail
- Hot springs soak at Jemez Hot Springs or Jemez Springs Bath House
- Drive up Hwy 4 to Soda Dam
- Lunch at Los Ojos
- Return along Highway 4, stop at Walatowa Visitor Center
- Turn right on Hwy 485 to Gilman Tunnels, return to Hwy 4
- Take left on Hwy 290 to Ponderosa Winery for wine tasting, time permitting, return via Hwy 4 or head back to Jemez Springs and stay the night!
